First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looked at how different levels of liver damage affect the way the body handles a single dose of the experimental drug KP-001. Twenty-four adults with either healthy livers or mild to moderate liver problems took part. Researchers measured drug levels in the blood to see if liver impairment changes how the drug is processed or causes more side effects. The goal is to help doctors decide on safe dosing for people with liver issues.
