Brain cap could spot Alzheimer's early

NCT ID NCT04954183

Summary

This study tested whether a simple, non-invasive brain wave recording (EEG) could help identify Alzheimer's disease at various stages. Researchers collected EEG data from 29 people, including those with no symptoms but at genetic risk, mild memory problems, and different stages of dementia. The goal was to see if patterns in brain activity could serve as a potential diagnostic tool.
