Can a simple video ease cancer Patients' fears about treatment?
NCT ID NCT04363957
Summary
This study tested whether adding an educational video to the standard explanation helps patients with cervical or uterine cancer better understand and feel more comfortable with a specific type of internal radiation treatment called brachytherapy. Researchers compared two groups of 80 patients: one group received the usual verbal explanation, while the other also watched a detailed video about the procedure. The main goal was to see if the video improved patient satisfaction and reduced anxiety related to their treatment.
