First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tested a program where children who came to the emergency room for an asthma attack were given their daily asthma medication right at the ER and then had it supervised at school. The goal was to see if this approach would help kids take their medicine regularly and reduce the chance of another ER visit. The study involved 13 children aged 6-12 and measured how many returned to the ER within 90 days.
