First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study will test a small, single-lead ECG patch that sticks to the chest and sends heart rhythm data to a central monitoring system. It aims to help doctors spot serious heart rhythm problems like atrial fibrillation or ventricular tachycardia faster in hospitalized patients. About 100 adults who need heart monitoring during their hospital stay will wear the patch for up to 8 days. The goal is to see if this patch can improve how quickly doctors recognize and treat abnormal heart rhythms.
