Summary
This study looked at how different types of stationary bike workouts affect muscle strength and overall fitness in 45 sedentary but healthy adults. Participants did either eccentric (resisting the pedal) or concentric (normal pedaling) cycling for 14 weeks. The goal was to see which workout gave the best results with the least effort.
