Summary

This study looked at 45 healthy but sedentary adults to compare three cycling programs: eccentric high-intensity interval training, continuous eccentric cycling, and concentric high-intensity interval training. Researchers wanted to see which type best improves muscle strength, heart fitness, and daily function with the least perceived effort. The goal is to find more enjoyable and effective exercise options for people who are not very active.
