New therapy aims to break dangerous link between diabetes and eating disorders
NCT ID NCT05540704
Summary
This study is testing two different talk therapy programs to help people with type 1 diabetes who also struggle with eating disorders like binge eating or restricting insulin for weight control. Researchers want to see if these therapies can improve blood sugar levels, reduce eating disorder symptoms, and ease the stress of managing diabetes. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two therapy groups or a waitlist, and their progress will be tracked using blood tests, surveys, and wearable glucose monitors.
