Simple blood test may predict anesthesia danger in frail patients
NCT ID NCT07642765
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Aug 05, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study will check if a score called EASIX, calculated from routine blood tests, can predict dangerous low blood pressure after anesthesia in frail patients having non-cardiac surgery. Researchers will monitor 160 frail patients' blood pressure closely after they receive anesthesia. The goal is to see if EASIX can help identify those at higher risk, allowing doctors to take preventive steps.
