Questionnaires vs. tape measures: race to catch lymphedema sooner

NCT ID NCT05929001

Summary

This study aims to find better ways to detect lymphedema, a potential swelling complication, at its earliest stages after breast cancer patients have lymph nodes removed. Researchers will compare whether detailed questionnaires filled out by patients can identify lymphedema as well as or better than traditional physical arm measurements. The goal is to catch this condition sooner to improve treatment options and quality of life for those at risk.
