Brain bleed breakthrough? new combo therapy aims to boost recovery

Summary
This study tests whether draining fluid from the spine and injecting a clot-busting drug (urokinase) early after a severe brain bleed improves recovery. About 424 adults with a first-time severe aneurysm bleed will be randomly assigned to get either this treatment or a placebo, along with standard care. The main goal is to see if more people have a good functional outcome (able to live independently) 6 months later.
