Can early genetic testing unlock new cancer treatments?
NCT ID NCT06958224
First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests whether doing broad genetic testing early, instead of later, helps more people with advanced pancreatic, liver, or triple-negative breast cancer get treatments that match their tumor's genetic makeup. About 360 adults with advanced disease will be randomly assigned to early or standard-timing testing. The goal is to see if early testing leads to more people actually starting a targeted therapy.
