First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study aimed to see if asking patients four simple questions about their thinking and memory during their yearly checkup would help doctors take more action, like referring them to a specialist or ordering tests. The study was planned for adults coming in for their annual wellness visit, but it was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled. The goal was to compare how doctors behaved before and after adding the short screener to the visit.
