Can a tiny earpiece help break the cycle of trauma and addiction?

NCT ID NCT06130501

Summary

This study is testing whether a small earpiece that delivers gentle nerve stimulation can help people who have both post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and opioid addiction stick with their medication treatment. About 20 participants will use the device for 12 weeks alongside standard buprenorphine therapy. Researchers want to see if the device is easy to use, comfortable, and helps people continue their treatment for at least three months.
