Ear zap might replace opioids after back surgery

Summary
This study tests if a non-invasive device that gently stimulates nerves in the ear can help reduce pain after lumbar spine surgery. The goal is to see if this approach can lower the need for opioid painkillers. About 20 adults having back surgery will be enrolled and their pain levels and opioid use will be tracked.
