Ear pins tested to stop TB drug sickness

NCT ID NCT07271225

Summary

This study is testing whether small, press-in needles placed on the ear can safely reduce nausea and vomiting caused by tuberculosis medications. Researchers will compare real ear acupuncture to a fake version in 58 patients experiencing these side effects. The goal is to find a comfortable, low-risk way to help people stick with their full TB treatment, which is crucial for getting cured.
