Can e-cigarettes help those with mental illness cut down on smoking?

Summary

This study looks at whether e-cigarettes or nicotine patches and lozenges, combined with counseling and text messages, can help people with serious mental illness reduce their cigarette smoking. 60 participants who smoke at least 5 cigarettes a day will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. The goal is to see which approach works better for cutting down or stopping smoking.
