Summary
This study followed 51 people with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) for 6 months to understand how their shortness of breath changes over time. Researchers measured both the physical sensation and the emotional impact of breathlessness, and looked at how these relate to lung function. The goal was to better understand the experience of dyspnea in IPF, not to test a new treatment.
