First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether a new way of analyzing PET scans (called dynamic imaging) can find more cancer spots in the body than the standard method. It involves 60 men with advanced prostate cancer that has spread and is no longer responding to hormone therapy. The goal is to improve how doctors decide on the best treatment, not to treat the cancer itself.
