First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study looked at whether measuring how much the knee moves (laxity) during an MRI can help doctors diagnose partial tears of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), which are often hard to see on standard scans. Researchers followed 151 people with knee injuries for one year. The goal was to see if this combined approach improves diagnosis and helps guide treatment decisions.
