First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated Jun 07, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests whether eight weeks of mindfulness training, done together by a person with Parkinson's disease and their family caregiver, can reduce negative emotions like stress, anxiety, and depression. About 200 patient-caregiver pairs will either take the mindfulness classes or continue their usual care. The goal is to see if this approach improves their emotional health and strengthens their relationship.
