Summary

This study is testing a new, non-invasive device that uses electrical signals to measure blood flow in the legs. It includes 20 healthy volunteers and 20 patients with deep vein thrombosis (DVT) who are undergoing clot-busting treatment. The goal is to collect data to improve the device and train AI to better detect blood flow changes.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

What this could lead to

If successful, this could lead to a better, non-invasive way to monitor deep vein thrombosis during treatment.

What could go wrong

This is a small, early-stage study focused on data collection, not treatment. The device may not prove accurate enough for clinical use.
