First seen Nov 03, 2025 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tested whether dupilumab, an injectable drug, can improve symptoms and quality of life in adults with chronic sinusitis who do not have nasal polyps. Thirty-three participants received either dupilumab or a placebo for six months. The main goal was to see if the drug reduced symptom scores on a standard sinusitis questionnaire. The study also looked at smell, quality of life, and need for rescue medications.
