First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding mental tasks (like counting or puzzles) to shoulder exercises can reduce pain and improve function better than standard exercises alone. About 46 adults with chronic shoulder pain will do either dual-task or standard exercises twice a week for 6 weeks. Researchers will measure pain, shoulder function, and fear of movement at 6 and 12 weeks.
