Laser breakthrough could reduce eye drops for glaucoma patients

Summary
This study tests whether a laser treatment called DSLT can lower eye pressure and reduce the number of eye drops needed in Asian patients with normal tension glaucoma. About 40 adults will receive the laser and be followed for 12 months. The goal is to see if the laser can help control the disease with less medication.
