First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tested whether dry needling, acupressure, or both can reduce pain from cervicogenic headaches (headaches that start in the neck). 80 adults with chronic headaches were randomly assigned to one of these treatments or hot packs. Researchers measured pain, neck movement, and quality of life before, after, and two weeks later to see which approach worked best.
