Summary
This study looked at whether regularly measuring the amount of anti-TNF medication and antibodies in the blood helps doctors make better treatment decisions for people with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. 260 patients were split into two groups: one where doctors had access to these blood test results, and one where they did not. The goal was to see if this monitoring approach improved patient outcomes and was cost-effective over two years.
