Healthy volunteers help uncover calderasib drug interactions

NCT ID NCT06719557

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This completed Phase 1 study looked at how two common drugs—itraconazole (an antifungal) and phenytoin (a seizure medicine)—change the amount of calderasib in the blood of 28 healthy adults. Researchers measured calderasib levels over time after a single dose, alone and with each other drug. The goal was to understand potential drug interactions, not to treat any disease.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

Calderasib (also called MK-1084), itraconazole, and phenytoin

What this could lead to

If successful, this study will help determine the right dosing of calderasib when taken with other common drugs.

What could go wrong

This is an early-phase study in healthy volunteers, not patients. It only measures drug levels, not effectiveness or safety for any disease.
