Summary
This study looked at using a special balloon coated with medicine to reopen completely blocked heart arteries. 309 patients were treated and followed for 6 months to see if the artery stayed open and if there were any heart problems. The goal was to find a better way to treat these tough blockages without leaving a permanent metal stent.
