Gene-Targeted screening could revolutionize prostate cancer detection
NCT ID NCT07265414
First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a new screening method using PHI blood test and mp-MRI scans can find prostate cancer earlier in men with DNA repair gene (DRG) mutations. Current screening often misses aggressive cancers in these men. The goal is to catch more cancers early, when they are easier to treat, while avoiding unnecessary tests in low-risk men. About 320 men with or at risk for prostate cancer will take part.
