First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study will follow 100 adults who are having a hip or knee replacement to learn about their experiences with surgical dressings and how they care for their wound at home. Researchers will check how well patients follow a self-care checklist and track any wound problems like infection or blistering for up to 12 weeks after surgery. The goal is to improve wound care education and reduce complications.
