First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adjusting the dose of chemotherapy drugs (5-FU or capecitabine) based on a person's DPYD gene test can reduce severe side effects. About 100 adults with certain cancers (like colorectal, breast, or head/neck) will take part. The goal is to see if personalized dosing leads to fewer hospitalizations or life-threatening reactions.
