Needle instead of knife? simple injection could shrink painful NF2 tumors

NCT ID NCT05521048

Summary

This study is testing whether injecting an antibiotic called doxycycline directly into skin tumors can shrink them in people with Neurofibromatosis Type 2 (NF2). The goal is to find a simpler, less risky alternative to surgical removal. Researchers are measuring tumor size changes in 19 participants over one year to see if the injections are effective.
