Does a mask hide a Doctor's care? study tests patient feelings on video vs. In-Person visits
NCT ID NCT05102656
Summary
This study aims to understand how patients with cancer or COVID-19 perceive their doctor's empathy. Researchers are comparing two visit types: in-person where the doctor wears full protective equipment (PPE) versus a video call where the doctor does not. The goal is to learn which type of interaction helps patients feel more understood and cared for by their healthcare team.
