First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) exercises to standard physical therapy helps women with chronic low back pain from a herniated disc. 44 women took part, with one group doing only standard exercises and another adding DNS moves. After 8 weeks, both groups improved, but the DNS group had better pain relief and core strength. The goal was to see if these special exercises could make daily activities easier and improve balance.
