NCT ID NCT04090528

First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a second DNA vaccine to a standard immunotherapy (pembrolizumab) can better control advanced prostate cancer that no longer responds to hormone therapy. About 60 adults with metastatic, castration-resistant prostate cancer will receive either one or two DNA vaccines plus pembrolizumab for up to 2 years. The goal is to see if the two-vaccine combination improves progression-free survival compared to one vaccine alone.
