NCT ID NCT07371026
First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looks at whether using special cards—distractor cards with pictures or thermochromic cards that change color with heat—can help children aged 4 to 6 feel less pain, fear, and anxiety while receiving inhaler therapy for respiratory infections. About 90 children will take part, and researchers will measure their fear, pain, and anxiety levels before, during, and after treatment. The goal is to find simple, non-drug ways to make breathing treatments less stressful for young kids.
