Summary

This study tests if briefly stopping and restarting blood flow in the neck after a stroke procedure can help the brain heal better. About 120 adults who had a major stroke and received emergency treatment to reopen a blocked artery will be randomly assigned to get this extra therapy or standard care. The goal is to see if this simple technique can reduce brain damage and improve patients' ability to function independently after 90 days.
