Can a quick text or video get more people vaccinated? study targets mental health gap

NCT ID NCT06119854

Summary

This study tested two new types of brief online messages designed to encourage COVID-19 vaccination, specifically for adults with anxiety or depression who are less likely to get the shot. Researchers compared these new approaches—one using storytelling to counter misinformation and another using techniques from therapy—against standard public health messages. They measured whether people got a vaccine dose within four weeks after seeing the messages.
