Summary

This study tested two home-based digital pain treatments—Skills-Based VR and painTRAINER—in 330 people with chronic pain living in rural areas. Participants used the programs at home for 8 weeks and reported their pain levels and daily function. The goal was to see if one program helped reduce pain intensity more than the other.
