Summary
This study tested an online program called 'Empowered Relief' designed to help people who have chronic pain and misuse prescription opioids. Researchers compared the skills-based program to a general health education course to see which was better at reducing pain and opioid cravings. Over 200 adults from four countries participated in this fully online trial over several months.
