NCT ID NCT02026115

Summary

This study tested a computer program called PAINRelieveIt to see if it could help manage severe pain for cancer patients receiving hospice care at home. The program provided personalized pain reports to nurses and educational materials to patients and their family caregivers. Researchers compared this approach to standard hospice care to see if it led to better pain control and more consistent use of pain medication.
