Summary
This study looked at 479 adults aged 40 to 75 with knee or hip arthritis to see if having arthritis in the finger joints is linked to more severe arthritis in the lower limbs. Researchers used X-rays and clinical exams to measure joint damage. The goal was to better understand how arthritis in different parts of the body may be connected. No treatments or interventions were tested.
