NCT ID NCT07280715
First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether a digital tool combining weekly symptom surveys and a Fitbit can help monitor patients during immunotherapy for advanced melanoma. Forty participants will be randomly assigned to use the tool or receive usual care. The goal is to see if the system is easy to use and improves symptom management and quality of life.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Digital remote monitoring tool (symptom surveys and Fitbit)
What this could lead to
If successful, this approach could help patients manage immunotherapy side effects better and stay connected with their care team.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early feasibility study with only 40 participants, so results may not apply widely. The intervention is behavioral, not a treatment for cancer itself.
