Smart watches could track debilitating Huntington's symptoms

NCT ID NCT07010705

Summary

This study aims to see if wearable devices can reliably measure walking problems and involuntary movements in people with Huntington's disease during their daily lives at home. Researchers will enroll 100 participants, including people with Huntington's and healthy volunteers, who will wear devices on their wrist and torso for a week. The study also involves interviews to understand how these movement symptoms affect daily life and whether digital tracking is meaningful to patients and their families.
