First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests whether a digital heart health program (app and online sessions) added to standard care can lower cholesterol and reduce heart attacks better than standard care alone. About 1,100 adults with heart disease or high cholesterol who are already on statins will be followed for 7 years. The program provides nutrition guidance and lifestyle support through technology to help manage heart disease long-term.
