Doctors in your pocket: smart tech trial aims to tame chronic conditions
NCT ID NCT07238257
Summary
This study tested whether a digital health program could help middle-aged and older adults better manage common health conditions like high blood pressure and diabetes. For 6 months, 199 participants in Taiwan used smart devices to track health data, which their doctors reviewed monthly to give personalized advice. The goal was to see if this remote monitoring approach improved measures like weight, blood sugar, and sleep quality compared to usual care.
