Summary
This study looks at two new ways to use digital tools to help people and their families get better cancer genetic counseling. In one part, doctors will directly reach out to family members of patients with a harmful gene change to offer genetic testing, instead of relying on the patient to tell them. In the other part, patients who get an uncertain genetic test result will use an online portal to stay updated on what that result means over time. The goal is to see if these digital approaches increase testing and improve follow-up care compared to the usual methods.
