Can a tablet and art calm a Child's ICU fears?

NCT ID NCT07388485

Summary

This study aims to see if a short, guided digital art program on a tablet can help children feel less anxious and stressed while they are in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU). It will involve 60 children aged 7 to 12 who are awake and stable. Researchers will compare children who do the art sessions to those who receive standard care, measuring their anxiety, emotions, and vital signs like heart rate.
