Gut health supplement tested as depression therapy Add-On
NCT ID NCT07416747
Summary
This study is testing whether a dietary supplement called GynMDD helps reduce depression symptoms when taken alongside weekly talk therapy. Researchers will compare adults with mild to moderate depression who receive either the supplement or a placebo pill along with their therapy sessions. The study also examines whether the supplement affects digestive health and gut bacteria, which some research suggests may be linked to mood.
