The diet that burns more calories? study tests carbs vs. fat after weight loss

NCT ID NCT02068885

Summary

This study aimed to understand why keeping weight off is so hard. After losing weight, 234 adults followed one of three diets with different amounts of carbs and fat, but the same protein. Researchers carefully measured how many calories their bodies burned and other health markers over 20 weeks to see if one diet made it easier to maintain weight loss.
